Clinical Placement

Translating classroom excellence into professional healthcare practice.

Clinical placement is the most critical phase of healthcare education at MCHS. Following intensive training in our Skills Laboratory, students are deployed to accredited health facilities across the country to gain real-world experience under the supervision of qualified clinical preceptors.

Our placement program ensures that students develop the necessary competencies, ethical standards, and professional confidence required to serve in Malawi's healthcare sector.

Accredited Sites

We partner with Central, District, and Community hospitals to provide a diverse clinical environment for our students.

Clinical Preceptorship

Students are mentored by experienced practitioners who provide hands-on guidance and continuous assessment.

Regulatory Alignment

All placements strictly follow the guidelines set by the Medical Council and the Nurses & Midwives Council of Malawi.
