The Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Public Health provides the strategic academic and administrative leadership required to address contemporary health challenges. Acting as the chief academic and operational officer, the Dean ensures the faculty remains at the forefront of preventative medicine and health policy.

Background

The Faculty of Public Health comprises of pillars like of health education: Environmental Health, Community Nursing, and Health Management. The Faculty provides teaching, research, and outreach services designed to produce professionals equipped to manage the diverse health landscape of Malawi.

Department of Community Health Nursing

Preparing nurses to deliver comprehensive community-based care, health promotion, and disease prevention services across Malawi's diverse communities.

Department of Environmental Health

Addressing environmental determinants of health through training, research, and community interventions focused on sanitation, water quality, and pollution control.
