Driving Digital Transformation: Powering Innovation Through ICT

The Department of ICT is at the core of Malawi College of Health Sciences’ digital transformation, ensuring seamless technology integration to support learning, research, and administration. Our mission is to provide reliable, secure, and innovative ICT solutions that enhance the college’s operations and academic excellence.

We oversee the management of IT infrastructure, network systems, digital services, and cybersecurity. The directorate is also responsible for developing and implementing ICT policies, maintaining college databases, and providing technical support to students and staff. Through continuous innovation, we strive to create a digitally enabled learning environment that meets global standards.

On the journey to full automation, the directorate designs, develops, and maintains bespoke information systems tailored to the college’s needs.

In-house Solutions

IT Training

We facilitate the adoption of IT services through end-user focused tutorials, workshops, and digital literacy programmes for staff and students.

Capacity Building

Internet & Networking

We are responsible for ensuring that every student and staff member has reliable, secure access to the college’s internet network and digital resources.
