Library Services

1. Book Loans

All students and faculty members are entitled to borrow information resources from the Library. Members must present a valid College ID before borrowing any item. Access and borrowing privileges are regulated by the MCHS Library Rules and Regulations.

2. Information Literacy (IL)

The Library conducts periodic Information Literacy sessions targeting undergraduate and post-basic students. Topics covered include:

  • Academic search techniques (PubMed, HINARI, E-databases)
  • Research integrity and Plagiarism awareness
  • Citation and referencing using Mendeley or Zotero
  • Ethical use of medical information and Generative AI

3. Research Support

To foster a strong research culture, the Library provides scholarly resources and undertakes activities such as vetting journal titles for publication and supporting Thesis and Dissertation reviews.

4. Digital Resource Access

A dedicated space within the Library equipped with high-speed internet to allow students to access international medical journals, e-books, and clinical databases.
