Students Representative Council

The Independent Voice of MCHS Students

The Students Representative Council (SRC) is an independent students body that looks at the welfare of all MCHS Students, elected annually in the second semester of the academic year. It acts as a bridge between the administration and the students.

The council is composed of both Council members and regular members, including Executive Committee members, Directors, and Representatives from all campuses.

Mission Statement

To establish an efficient Student's union that is responsible for the welfare of all Union members while ensuring adherence to the realization of the University's mission and vision.

Vision

To be centre of excellence in the provision of Scientific, commercial, and technological, education and training for sustainable development.

Objectives

Promote the advancement of education for all students of MCHS.

Promote and protect the welfare of all students who are members of the SRC of MCHS.

Represent the interests of SRC members and provide a channel of communication between students and administration.

Enhance unity, mutual understanding and cooperation between staff, students and the general public.

Represent students before any institution, including the University Council where matters of rights require being voiced.

Promote the spirit of diversity and openness among students, faculty and other staff.
