Programme Summary

The Diploma in Nursing (Registered) - Upgrading enables enrolled nurses holding a certificate or diploma to qualify as Registered Nurses. The programme strengthens clinical competence and prepares graduates for registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.

Entry Requirements

• MSCE with six credits (English, Biology, Mathematics, Physical Science plus any two subjects).
• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
• 3 years work experience in both Nursing and Midwifery.
• Registered with Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
